PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

Professional Photography: 

  • We define professional photography as portrait sessions (engagement, family, maternity, etc.) and any other posed photography undertaken by professional, semi-pro, or amateur photographers. 
  • Please note that mini-sessions are not allowed to ensure a positive experience for all our visitors. 
  • We recommend booking your session in advance to secure your desired date and time. Walkup sessions are available, but availability cannot be guaranteed. 
  • The permit fee covers a two-hour session in our outdoor areas.
  • Wardrobe changes are not possible on-site as we only have a portable restroom available. 
  • To schedule a portrait session, please contact us in advance at holly@ednfarms.com and provide the following information:

Your Email Should Include: 

  • Names, emails, and phone numbers of everyone participating in the session 
  • Preferred date and time for your session (including sunrise or golden hour if desired) 
  • The purpose of your session 
  • Your business information (if applicable) or your contact details 
  • A link to your website or social media portfolio 

Once we receive your request, we'll contact you regarding the permit fee and insurance requirements. 

Pricing and Reservations: 

  • To reserve a date for your portrait session, please email us at holly@ednfarms.com with the required information including COI. We'll confirm your date and send you an invoice for the permit fee. 
  • Our permit fees vary depending on the season and the number of people in your session. Please contact us for details on group rates. 

 

Session Photography Rates: 

 

  • RESERVED 2-HOUR SESSION PERMIT** (NO MINI-SESSIONS)   
  • $75: 1-6 people in off season (May, October)   
  • $100: 1-6 people in lavender season & sunflower season (June-September)   
  • Please contact us for rates for groups of 7 to 15 people.  

 

  • NON-RESERVED 2-HOUR SESSION PERMIT — Walkup sessions with no reservation: No guarantee of availability!  Sunrise Walkup sessions are not available.
  • $100: 1-6 people in off season (May and October)   
  • $125: 1-6 people in lavender season & fall season (June-September) 

 

  • *One Session Permits (both reserved and non-reserved) are good for ONE photography session, with a maximum 2-hour time limit. If shorter than 2 hours, pro-rating does not apply. 

 

SPECIAL RESERVED SESSIONS:   

  

  • SUNRISE OR GOLDEN HOUR PHOTO SHOOT: Between 5:00-8:00 a.m. or 6:00-9:00 p.m.: additional $50 surcharge. 
  • PHOTOGRAPHY WITH OUR CLASSIC TRUCK “CLARA” OR VINTAGE TRACTOR “LUCY” WITH PERMIT: Additional $50 

 

Additional Information: 

  • Parking is available in our upper lot. Please refrain from driving around the farm unless given prior permission. 
  • We understand that weather can be unpredictable. In case of inclement weather, we'll try our best to reschedule your session. However, cancellations due to weather are non-refundable. 
  • We'll post any closures on our social media channels and website. We'll also notify photographers directly if necessary. 

Nature and Art Photography: 

  • Artists and nature photographers are welcome to visit our farm during operating hours. However, we kindly ask that you follow our guidelines to avoid disturbing other visitors or our plants. 
  • If you're planning a visit with a group for a field trip or photography workshop, please register in advance to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. 
  • When showcasing or selling your work that features Edn Farm, please provide credit to our farm.  

Edn Farm Staff Photography: 

  • Photos: We may occasionally take photos of visitors and participants for promotional purposes. By visiting, you consent to being included in these photos. 
  • Minors: We never publish distinguishable photos of minors without prior parental consent. 

Farm Etiquette: 

  • Smoking & Vaping: Smoking (including vaping) is not allowed on the farm. 
  • Pets: To protect our animals and guests, pets are not allowed. Service dogs are welcome in areas open to the public. Service animals must behave in a manner according to Federal and State of Wisconsin guidelines. *Must not be disruptive to guests, resident animals or livestock. 
  • Props: Please obtain approval for any photography props. Balloons, kites, flying lanterns, glitter, confetti, and items to be tossed are prohibited. 

Protecting the Farm: 

  • Plants & Structures: Do not remove or alter any plants, structures, or features of the farm. 
  • Designated Areas: Please stay on designated mowed paths and avoid entering flower beds, damaging lavender rows, or entering uncut wildflower fields. 
  • Climbing: Climbing on trees or structures is not permitted. 
  • Clothing: All photo subjects must be appropriately clothed at all times. 

Safety & Logistics: 

  • Drones: Drone photography is not permitted for the safety and privacy of all our guests.  
  • Cords & Wires: Please securely secure any cords and wires to avoid tripping hazards. 
  • Power: Please provide your own battery source as there is no electricity available on the farm. 

Responsibility: 

Photographers are responsible for the actions of their clients, crew members, and subjects, including any damage to the farm and a waiver must be signed by all including photographer and crew.
