Store Safely for Years: Each Ednberry Kit has a best by date for maximum flavor, however, if stored unopened and unprepared in a dark dry place, it will be ready when you are for years to come.
NO NEED TO OPEN COTTON POUCH. IT IS READY TO BREW.
How to prepare:
1. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water t a rolling boil.
2. Carefully place the entire Ednberry cotton pouch, unopened, Reduce heat to a low simmer (just barely bubbling).
3.Brew in simmering water for 35 to 45 minutes or until liquid has reduced to 4 Cups, remove from heat.
4. Once brew has cooled to room temperature, remove pouch, (press the brew pouch to the inside of pot with a spatula to release extra flavor from the pouch), add honey* or your desired sweetener to achieve your desired sweetness (1/4 to 1 Cup).
* Never serve anything containing honey to a child under 1 year old. Use alternative sweetener.
